Description

Ripley books an artistic nude session with Kenzie, hoping to rebuild the confidence damaged by a long and physically abusive former relationship. Attraction develops during the session, but Kenzie is already married to Jarrett and openly polyamorous.

Kenzie and Ripley begin dating while Ripley learns about Kenzie and Jarrett’s marriage, their 24/7 dominant–submissive dynamic and the realities of joining an established couple. Ripley’s fear of initiating affection and her uncertainty about polyamory repeatedly complicate the relationship.

The novel ends after all three discuss boundaries, communication and future partners. Ripley confirms that she considers herself both Kenzie’s and Jarrett’s girlfriend, officially establishing their triad.
