Description

Kelly and Ryan volunteer for a private study exploring fantasies within long-term relationships. On Holt Island, seven established couples receive carefully designed assignments involving public intimacy, partner sharing and sexual experimentation.

The real conflict is Ryan’s refusal to discuss Greg, his twin brother who died from leukemia at seventeen. Ryan has spent years using physical intimacy to suppress his grief, leaving Kelly afraid that an important part of him will always remain closed to her.

The final assignment forces Ryan to admit both his jealousy and his unresolved pain. He finally talks openly about Greg, tells Kelly what he genuinely wants and agrees that they should stop hiding difficult feelings from each other.
