Description
Trixie Calhoun is a sarcastic college student balancing classes, bills and a dead-end job at a shabby diner. During a violent storm, an unusually pale stranger named John Benson enters the diner and offers her an interview for a much better position.
John is a wealthy investment-company owner who lives almost entirely inside his secluded Victorian mansion. A severe genetic condition makes sunlight dangerous for him, while years of frightened reactions and cruel treatment have left him distrustful of strangers. He needs a personal secretary to handle his business and act as his connection to the outside world.
Funny, sensual and character-driven, Pale Stranger begins a continuing romance about loneliness, self-acceptance and an unlikely connection between a financially struggling student and a reclusive billionaire. The book includes a detailed sex scene and should not be listed as a clean romance.
