Description
After an unhappy marriage and divorce, Jillian moves from El Paso to Lusty, Texas, where she takes over her aunt’s apartment and job as administrator of the local medical clinic. She intends to remain single, but her new employers, Robert and David Jessop, immediately recognize her as the woman they want to share.
The brothers introduce Jillian to a consensual dominant–submissive relationship while helping her understand how deeply her former husband neglected her emotional needs. Jillian must decide whether she can trust two men, accept the town’s unconventional family structure and believe that love can be permanent.
Jillian eventually accepts Robert and David’s marriage proposals and agrees to wear their collar. Her twenty-year-old Marine son, Brandon, supports the relationship and tells the brothers that they are what his mother needs. The novel closes with Jillian surrounded by her new family while the trio prepares for marriage and a future together.
