Description

Scarlett is recovering from severe physical and psychological trauma after being rescued from a criminal organization. Believing that chosen submission may help her reclaim the control previously taken from her, she asks Derek to restore their master–submissive relationship.

Derek agrees but struggles with guilt over their violent history and fears that dominating Scarlett could cause further harm. Their private recovery is interrupted when Mateo Lopez targets them, forcing Derek to choose between protecting Scarlett and confronting the criminal network he once served.

Scarlett refuses to remain helpless and becomes involved in the final confrontation. Mateo is killed, Scarlett’s aunt Alicia is rescued, and the closing chapter shows Scarlett and Derek building a permanent life together with their newborn son.
